据《曼谷邮报》报道，泰国教育部长沃瓦特·奥-阿宾亚库尔建议根据申请人的就业前景来改变拉瓦尔大学的大学生贷款基金，以便发放贷款。
他说，政府希望减少借款人违约的数量。

Presidents and representatives of 40 universities in Asia, including many universities of education, have pledged to collaborate to improve teacher education and promote educational research and development, reports The Jakarta Post.
At the inaugural Asian Round-table of Presidents of Universities of Education, hosted by the Hong Kong Institute of Education last month, President Professor Anthony BL Cheung underlined that universities, schools and teachers were facing unprecedented challenges arising from globalisation and the knowledge economy.
The round-table gathered leaders in education from across Asia – including representatives from China, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Thailand, Macau and Hong Kong – to discuss the new role of universities of education in an era of change.
But the presidents of 10 universities, mostly from Japan and Taiwan, did not make it because of concerns over the spread of H1N1 influenza in the region.
The Joint Message adopted at the Roundtable was endorsed by 39 universities, including those not present.
